| School Introduction | Beijing University of Chinese Medicine (BUCM) is a national key university with Chinese medicine as its main discipline. | Project Introduction | This project, in cooperation with the Centre France Chine de la Médecine Chinoiseand(CFCMC) and related expert teams, interprets and teaches the application of the international organization standards on Chinese medicine dispensing, “Specifications for Vocational Education of Chinese Medicine Dispensing” and “Guidelines for taking commonly-used Chinese medicine decoctions”, which were developed and released by China-France cooperation, in order to realizes the promotion of the vocational education of traditional Chinese medicine dispensing abroad, and to promote the development of the education of traditional Chinese medicine dispensing. | |

| College Introduction | School of Chinese Materia Medicine of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine (BUCM) has three undergraduate majors of traditional Chinese medicine, traditional Chinese medicine pharmacy and pharmacy, master’s and doctoral degree authorization points of traditional Chinese medicine, master’s degree authorization points of pharmacy, and post-doctoral research station of traditional Chinese medicine. The first batch of national key disciplines of Chinese medicine is the national “211 project” and national “985” advantageous disciplinary platform construction project. In 2017, it was selected as one of the world’s first-class disciplines, and as of September 2017, the discipline of Pharmacology and Toxicology has entered the top 1% of ESI. The college adheres to the original research of traditional Chinese medicine. During the past five years, it has undertaken 281 national, provincial and ministerial level and international cooperation projects, with scientific research funds in place amounting to 360 million, of which 21 are national scientific and technological major new drug creation special projects, national key research and development programs, and key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. It has published 21 treatises, authorized 56 international and national invention patents, and formulated 32 standards, such as the Chinese Pharmacopoeia. | |
